With a strong background in classical composition from the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles (Belgium), electronic music from the Conservatorio di Musica di Bologna (Italy), film scoring from New York University (United States) and accordion from the Conservatoire Royal de Mons (Belgium), Rafaël Leloup crafted his personal style by blending all those skills into an original sound that beautifully complements images. His way of scoring has been heard over the years in MoMA (New York), Berlinale, SXSW, Toronto International Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival and appeared in New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Smithsonian Channel and MTV. | Rafaël is a member of the World Soundtrack Academy.
